During construction, the #2 Cahokia will not turn onto Curtiss-Steinberg Drive, and will instead stay on its regular route on Falling Springs Road.<\/p>\n<p>For transit riders who need to travel to or from the airport and business park,<strong> a Metro Transit shuttle van will be available beginning on September 26.<\/strong> The shuttle will operate between the 5<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; Missouri Transit Center and St. Louis Downtown Airport\/Sauget Business Park.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DowntownAirportShuttle-Map-Schedule.pdf\"><strong>Click here for the shuttle map and schedule.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The shuttle will provide service every 40 minutes, seven days a week. Southbound trips from the 5<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; Missouri Transit Center to St. Louis Downtown Airport begin at 5:16 a.m., with the last trip at 7:36 p.m. Northbound trips from St. Louis Downtown Airport to the 5<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; Missouri Transit Center begin at 5:30 a.m., with the last trip at 7:50 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>This temporary shuttle service will be in place until construction work on the Curtiss-Steinberg Bridge is complete, which is expected to take approximately two months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning Monday, September 26, the #2 Cahokia MetroBus route in Illinois will not be able to serve St. Louis Downtown Airport or the adjacent Sauget Business Park due to construction work on the Curtiss-Steinberg Bridge.
